Your Personal Protective Equipment should be checked by a competent user before it is used.
They need to be checking for damages / faults that could stop the system working correctly in the event of a fall.
What they should be looking for?
• Is the harness clean?
• Can you see the material freely?
• Any frays?
• Any cuts?
• Are the metal hooks intact?
• Does the karabiner unscrew freely?
• Is the stitching intact? Is it loose?
• When does it expires?
• The travelling device moves freely?
• Does it have a CE Marking?
Answer NO to any of the above then don’t use it!
Please make sure that the entire user Equipment is available upon our inspection as we will inspect it free of charge if it is available or you can send it to us to be checked for a small fee.
